The cast, crew and celebrities all came out for the Hollywood Black Film Festival in Marina Del Rey during Black History Month. Grandma’s House gives a compelling insight into how their generations all ended up under the same roof. Trials, Tribulations and Endurance play a role in this compelling true story based on the life of Executive Producer Kimberley T. Zulkowski. At times you are on the edge of your seat in suspense followed by minutes later with laughter an a all over warm feeling of happiness for this lovely family portrayed by hand picked actors to suit each role. Based on an inner-city Matriarch of the family “Margie” played by Loretta Devine, Wendy Raquel Robinson plays “Cynthia” the role of Kimberley Zulkowski’s real life mother and does an excellent performance. Flex Alexander does an outstanding portrayal of her dad “Thomas” giving you a not so expected ending.
Bravo on this well portrayed movie. The cast also includes Jazmin Lewis, Coco Jones, Stephen Bishop, Jordan Calloway and many more. Look for this movie in theaters near you coming soon.
